BioTex Labs and Stason Pharmaceuticals Complete Land Purchase along I-35 Corridor to Build an Assembly and Distribution Facility
San Antonio, Texas, May 1, 2006 — BioTex Labs (www.biotexlabs.com), a distributor of medical and healthcare products located in San Antonio, Texas, and Stason Pharmaceuticals, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer and developer, announced today they have recently purchased two acres of undeveloped land, located along the Interstate 35 Corridor in Schertz, Texas, on which they plan to construct an assembly and wholesale distribution facility.
"The acquisition of this land, which is strategically located along the I-35 Corridor, and our subsequent plans to build this facility on the property is a significant step in the relationship between Stason and BioTex," stated William Marciniak of BioTex Labs. "This venture will enable us to unite a rich tradition and proven track record of research and development and FDA-approved manufacturing with world-wide partners in the Pacific Rim bringing global technologies together under one roof." "It also creates not only the opportunity for BioTex Labs to bring innovative technology to the United States but also opens opportunities for us to provide products to the Asian Pacific markets."
"We believe the partnership between BioTex and Stason will prove to be greatly beneficial, not only to our current list of clients throughout the medical community, but also to emerging growth companies, research institutions, venture capital companies and individuals, who have ideas for life-changing products, but do not have the resources, technology or facilities necessary to take the product from conception and development into the marketplace," stated Harry Fan of Stason Pharmaceuticals.
